A carved oak candle stand, possibly 17th century, with circular drip tray set with a brass eight pointed star raised on a tapering barley twist column with squared section over a baluster knopped foot, the heavy square section base carved with repeating S motif and further simple decoration over four ogee shaped feet, past lot label to base for 173 Phillips 12 Jun 1995, 19.5 by 19.5 by 57cm high.
