A vintage 1930's ceramic Earthenware fluted teapot and lid by "James Sadler and Sons", Burslem, Stoke, in their popular "Sa2740" Art Deco pattern. The James Sadler pottery business, was established in 1882 and throughout their company history (up until 2000), they specialised in manufacturing teapots, becoming world-renowned for producing high-quality products with high levels of craftsmanship. The 2740 pattern (with the 1930's embossed mark), exhibits subtle single pink roses with their green petals, expertly interconnected with gold vertical lines and finished with a bold gold trim. This, all hand-painted onto a lovely cream ceramic 2½ pint teapot with a fabulous scalloped design. Payment - We Accept: - Debit / Credit Cards. - Bacs Transfer.
