A wonderful Poole Pottery tea set from their Twintone Earthenware range, this one finished in the Sky Blue and Dove Grey (C104) colour. The set includes: tea pot, hot water pot, sugar bowl, milk jug and 6 x tea cups and saucers. Poole Pottery was founded in 1873, in Poole, Dorset, and their famous Twintone range first came to market in 1958, proving hugely popular around the world. Such was its success, that it wasn't discontinued until 1981, and today, it is still highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike. The mark on this set indicating that it is from the early 1970's. As the pattern name suggests, this set is finished with superbly textured mat dove grey coloured exteriors with mat sky blue coloured pot lids and interiors.
