We have for sale a very attractive Charles Horner of Halifax silver turquoise and gilt brooch.
This striking brooch is is of an oval for and consists of a gilded oval faux turquoise stone set in an attractive silver mount. The brooch carries full English Hallmarks for Chester on the back along with the makers marks for the Yorkshire jeweler Charles Horner of Halifax.
The brooch is approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm long and half an inch (1.4mm at its widest point. The brooch is in a very good to excellent condition other than the slight surface ware one would expect from a hundred and twenty year old piece of jewellery.
