Description
A Charles I civil war period silver hammered Halfcrown minted in York - Mintmark being a lion.
This example is the oval garnished shield with CR crown on either side with floral spray in legend.
EBOR is present under the horse.
The flan is flat and relatively full with a slight dint around the word REGNO.
