Charming 18th Century Yew Wood Comb Back Chair

This is a really charming country chair in Yew wood dating from the 18th century. The chair has a traditional comb back construction with good colour overall and is totally sound in its structure and joints. This has lovely features including hand adzed wavy top rail and swept arm detail as well as the typical stout stick legs and rail back. A really attractive and rare example, circa 1790. The chair measures 109 cms high 56 cms wide 36 cms deep. The seat height is 43 cms. UK delivery can be arranged with our local courier and costs £60 plus vat to most areas.
