Charming Small Regency Rosewood Chest of Drawers

A very sweet small Regency rosewood chest of drawers. Having a solid walnut top with a moulded edge over an arrangement of four graduating drawers, with the most lovely richly coloured and figured rosewood fronts. The drawers internally constructed from mahogany with fine dove-tailing. The beautifully shaped brass handles are replacements and date from the mid 18th century, so are earlier than the chest, but work wonderfully. Panelled sides, again with the most glorious colour and figuring to the rosewood. Standing on bracket feet. Wonderful warm patination and character throughout Excellent antique condition.
