16th Century Chinese antique cast iron cauldron possibly ming period and decorated with Chinese calligraphy and unusual arabesque type panels and decorative mouldings around the rim. The cauldron has old repairs and extensive ware and a lovely patination to the cast iron, commensurate with age.
