Museum of Treasure has clarified that the Chinese Silver Vase by Chao Zhao c.1900 (LA395137) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1900


High quality in very good condition see additional info please This vase; the mark actually reads ZHAO 朝 and not "Chao Zhao". Zhao is a Chinese surname. The mark is of a Chinese silversmith but one who operated in Hué in Vietnam, hence the style of the vase which is typically South East Asian as opposed to mainland Chinese style.
