This is a handsome and fine quality Edwardian mahogany tripod table in the Chippendale manner, the tip-up top having a shaped ‘pie crust’ edge, raised on a base with ‘birdcage’ upper box section with baluster turned column supports, raised on a baluster turned stem and elegant cabriole leg tripod base with particularly finely carved acanthus decoration.

This item is in original structural condition and is completely sound. The polish has been re-finished, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some extremely minor old marks underneath the polish; in our opinion the photographs are representative.
