An absolutely magnificent, large Daisy Makeig-Jones hand painted Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre footed Punch Bowl with a 28 cm diameter c.1925. Woodland Bridge Pattern (Elves V). The exterior with Poplar trees around a central Mermaid roundel. "Wedgwood England" gilt stamp to the base and painted Z4968.
Wedgwood's stunning Fairyland lustre range was designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones from 1915-1929. She decorated her fairyland lustre series with beautifully hand painted fantastical scenes of magical kingdoms.

In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Some minor fine scratches - that are very hard to see and do not detract, inside the bowl near the base. There is a tiny white raised mark near the rim. Probably arising out of the original manufacture / firing process. The paint and gilding are bright and not worn. Please see photographs.
