Danish Vintage Rosewood Dining Table and Ten Chairs by Arne Vodder for Sibast
An exceptional Danish vintage rosewood dining table and ten chairs by Arne Vodder for Sibast. This set was made in Denmark, it dates from the 1960s.
The quality of the table and chairs is outstanding, they are beautifully crafted and the chairs are extremely comfortable. The chairs are an exceedingly rare model, hardly ever seen on the market. The table is a model 201 Xl table, which is also very rare. You will not find one in better condition than this.
The rosewood frames have stunning grain patterns and colour tones, the chairs are upholstered in black leather grained vinyl.
The condition is excellent throughout, the frames of the chairs are all clean, sturdy and sound, with only some extremely minor wear. The upholstery is in excellent order.
The table has been stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, it is immaculate. The two extension leaves can be stored beneath the top when not in use. When opened the table is a whopping three meters long.
The wood is Santos rosewood, which does not require a Cites or article 10.
