Offered for sales is a set of four Delfts Blauw wall plates by Chemkefa. The each features a scene by Jan van de Velde depicting one of the four season's. They are entitled De Lente, De Zomer, De Herfst, and De Winter. Jan van de Velde the younger (1593 – 1641) was a Dutch Golden Age painter and engraver of animal, landscape and still-life subjects. He was the son of Jan van de Velde the Elder and the father of the still life painter Jan Jansz van de Velde. Chemkefa is the abbreviated name of Chemisch Keramisch Fabriek.
