Delightful Silver & Tortoiseshell Trinket Box by Edward Souter Barnsley, Birmingham 1921

This delightful silver mounted and pique tortoiseshell jewellery box was made by Edward Souter Barnsley and is dated Birmingham 1921. The hinged cover decorated with a delicate floral garland. The plain circular silver base raised on three fleur-de-lys feet. The domed lid opening to reveal a royal blue satin and velvet interior. Black Morocco on the underside.
