Early 19th Century Black Basalt Sucrier & Slop Bowl - Floral Sprigged Decoration

A lovely early 19th Century "Black Basalt" ware sucrier with lid and "slop bowl", both in a finely potted body with a moulded band of floral and foliate decoration on a stippled textured ground, with an engine-turned base. In all 2 really nice pieces of early 19th Century black basalt ware! Neither have any mark as to maker that I can see. Both pieces are in excellent overall condition with no damage or restoration, the sucrier lid has a couple of really small nibbles to the edge.
