Description
An exceptional quality early 19th Century French antique mahogany semainier with marble top. The top drawer is concealed below the marble top with six more drawers below that flanked by pilasters with brass capitals and bases. Standing on ebonised block feet.
A heavy, substantial semainier with some of the best quality metalwork and wonderfully faded patinated timber. This is a superb example.
