Early 19th Century Mahogany Chest of Drawers c.1810

A handsome early 19th century bow fronted mahogany chest of drawers, dating to circa 1810,  of excellent colour. The richly figured mahogany veneers display a warm, deep tone with beautiful natural movement throughout, enhancing the overall presence of the piece. The chest is arranged with two short drawers over three long graduating drawers, all oak-lined and traditionally constructed with hand-cut dovetail joints. Each drawer is fitted with circular ring drop handles and original locks. The gently shaped front and bracket feet give the piece a refined Georgian silhouette, making it both visually appealing and highly versatile within a range of interiors.
