Early 20th-Century Miniature Chest of Drawers A lovely early 20th Century miniature chest of drawers, beautifully crafted from warm, honey toned hardwood with a rich, mellow patina developed over decades. The piece is modelled in the form of a small Victorian chest, featuring a solid moulded top, stepped plinth base, and five functional drawers arranged in the traditional layout, two short drawers over three long. Each drawer is fitted with original brass knobs, which complement the wood’s colour and add a subtle decorative accent. The craftsmanship is evident, square framed drawer fronts, and the overall balanced proportions. Light wear with small marks and age related imperfections give the piece character without detracting from its condition but yes the inside of the drawers could due with gentle clean. Originally made as either a salesman’s sample, an apprentice piece, or for storing small valuables, sewing items or jewellery, it now serves as a wonderfully decorative object with practical charm. A delightful little chest with genuine period presence perfect for collectors of miniatures, treen, or antique furniture models. 26.5cm in height, 23.5cm at it's widest point and 11cm at its deepest.
