An excellent and rare cased set of twelve Royal Worcester hand-painted fruit coffee cups and saucers, a highly collectible form of porcelain. The pieces are dated from the early 20th century and are each signed by various artists including: Walter Harold Auston / Ernest Phillips / W. Hale / Thomas Lockyter / William Ricketts and F. Harper Each cup and saucer features unique, hand-painted still life "fallen fruit" designs, often including apples, peaches, grapes, and berries, set against a rich gilded exterior. The set is presented in its original, likely leather-covered, fitted presentation case with a yellow silk interior. A magnificent set. Condition: Completely original, appears unused and in condition, no chips, cracks or flaws.
