Description
An early 20th-century German sterling silver and enamel erotic concealed cigarette case,
Of curved rectangular form, the plain exterior with a double front opening to reveal a scene of Leda and the Swan within a lily pond. There is a push-button release and gilt interior. Pforzheim with import marks for Chester 1911 by George Dresden
length 8.8 cm weight 199 gm
Gilding to the inside is strong, silver marks are clear, the two lids shut securely, the enamel is well preserved. There is a small gouge on the outside of the front on the lower edge
