Each piece in my collection is chosen for its craftsmanship, authenticity, and quiet sense of history. I specialise in antique silver, maritime objects, property of a gentleman and late 19th century as well as early 20th century designs, curating items that tell the story of refined leisure and skilled workmanship.
These are objects made to be used, admired, and handed down—each one a small testament to the artistry and precision of its era.

Description
A charming early 20th-century oak perpetual desktop calendar, dating to circa 1900–1920, of particularly attractive and decorative form.
Constructed in richly figured oak, the calendar features three glazed apertures displaying the day, numerical date and month, operated by a series of turned wooden knobs positioned to either side of the case. The information is printed onto internal linen rollers, allowing the calendar to be adjusted manually and used year after year.
The front is particularly well detailed with barley-twist columns flanking the display, together with carved bead decoration to the upper and lower mouldings. The projecting plinth base gives the piece an attractive architectural appearance.
The combination of its warm oak patina, mechanical operation and decorative detailing makes this an appealing example of an increasingly collectable form of Edwardian desk accessory.
