The Fancy Fox has clarified that the Early Derby Porcelain Large Ovoid Barrel Shaped Mug c.1760 (LA346746) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1760
Condition is very good. There is a small hairline to the base which is discoloured on the inside. The mug remains watertight. There is also a small chip on the inside of the foot rim which was itself ground level in manufacture. No other damage or restoration and very light handling wear; the enamels are all in good order bar some inevitable wear to the brown line on the rim. There are a scattering of firing spots inside the walls.
