Early Georgian Small Painted Chest of Drawers with Slide

This fabulous little oak chest of drawers dates to around 1740 and has a rare, original brushing slide. Painted a dusky blue and waxed, it has an appeal for the modern home and is ideal for a smaller bedroom space, where the slide allows it to be used as a laptop desk. - 2 over 3 graduated size drawers. - Dark wood handles, added around the early 19th century. - Bracket feet. - Brass inlaid keyhole surrounds. - Rare brushing slide, with original oak, unpainted finish.
