Early Georgian Walnut Chest of Drawers

This Early Georgian Walnut Chest of Drawers has both warmth and charm in abundance. Offering a generous amount of storage space in its five smooth running drawers whilst wearing its history with pride, and all the better for it. The figured walnut veneered drawers have decorative herringbone banding decoration, as does the top. The sides also have a cross banded decorative detail to them. The cross-grained mouldings add further interest to the piece, as does the brassware. Standing on substantial bracket feet, this very solid chest of drawers is of a particularly good weight. The walnut is a lovely warm aged tone, and this piece would work well in both a traditional, or indeed as a statement piece in a more modern decorative environment.
