This charming ironstone desert service (circa 1850) has a lovely floral pattern with a cobalt border and is in very good antique condition, with some small chips to one oval dish as pictured, and no cracks. This set features twelve plates, four round raised shallow dishes, and two larger raised oval dishes. There is no backstamp to these pieces, but the pattern number (4331) is marked to the base of each.

Epilogue One Antiques has clarified that the Early Ironstone Desert Service for Twelve c.1850 (LA432376) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1850
