Description
A small and perfectly formed early Victorian, golden oak, collectors’ cabinet. circa 1850. Well constructed and made from quarter sawn oak, identified by the medullary rays, which add depth and visual interest to this beautifully crafted piece. This cabinet screams quality and would be a great addition to any collectors’ home.
Twin panelled doors, with key lock and hidden brass latches, open to reveal six, graduated, numbered, rich holly green baize-lined drawers. With original Elkington, Mason & Compy Manufacturing label to the lip of the moulded base over four square feet. Brass carrying handles to either side, fold away when not in use.
The cabinet includes a spare key for all those forgetful collectors out there.
