Description
An early Worcester teapot.
Often referred to as the "Beckoning Chinaman".
This is circa 1753-4.
Fluted teapot. Not round. Globular.
Plain handle and no lid.
Obviously handpainted.
There have been a few of these examples of teapot on the UK market in the last decade.
Mint condition estimate £1K.
Sadly this has been repaired.
Both this teapot and the other teapot advertised can be bought together for £85 with free UK delivery.
