Beautiful boxed 7 piece cruet set in it's original presentation box. Contents comprise 4 salts with gilt lining, 2 pepper pots and a mustard pot also with a frosted glass liner, 4 salt spoons and 1 mustard spoon. Each piece is marked with the makers mark for Horace Woodwood & Co Ltd of Hatton Garden in London and the London assay office mark. The different parts of the set are dated differently, not unusual as often these sets were made up to order. The salts are 1903, the mustard 1902 and the peppers 1901 all with the makers mark and London assay office mark. All the spoons have the 1903 date mark. All contained in it's original fitted box. The measurements are- The total silver weight is 196.4g. All contained in a lovely shaped fitted box. Even the spoons sit in specially made slots. A lovely top quality set to grace any table. Excellent condition throughout with only a tiny dink in the side of the mustard and surface marks and wear consistent with it's age. The gilding on the inside of the salts also has wear due to it's corrosive nature. No holes, splits or repairs to the silver and the glass liners are damage free.
