Description
This is a superb brass coal scuttle from the Edwardian period. Matching embossed foliage and fruit are evident on the hood, rear and shovel. The candy twist handle has a turned ebony handle that also matches the shovel and rear handle. A very old small repair is visible when turned upside down but it is of little detriment when compared to the quality of the embossing other scuttles won't have.
