We have a particular interest in the Arts and Crafts movement, and much of our stock dates to this era. We’ve published several books on antiques, which are available via Amazon.
We have a large dealers unit at Carlton Fine Arts and Antiques Centre in Salts Mill, Saltaire, West Yorkshire, and we stand at fine arts and antiques fairs in Yorkshire and Lancashire.

Description
The perfect piece of silver to make something special of the Christmas fruit display, this very eye catching heavy Edwardian English silver bowl. The bowl is of an unusual slightly off square design with the body of the bowl being surrounded by a lovely ornate pierced floral border with large foliate heart shaped piercings at two opposing corners. It is these large heart shaped piercings that makes the bowl so unusual. The body of the bowl is supported by a single ornate foot which in turn extends into a foliate design border extending into four ornate feet. The bowl carries hallmarks for Sheffield 1902 and the makers marks for Fenton, Russel & Co Ltd.
The bowl is 8.5inches (21.5cm) wide/long and just over 3 inches (8cm) high. The bowl weighs approximately 511g.

The bowl is in a good antique condition, however it does carry some surface scratches commensurate with its age. The makers mark is slightly rubbed but easily legible.
