We are delighted to offer you this Edwardian inlaid rosewood desk by James Shoolbred & co. This desk is profusely inlaid with motifs and line inlays. The leather inset top, with a superstructure of a pair of stationery boxes with lifting lids and a drawer, joined by a central lidded compartment. Below the top are 3 drawers, one long (Makers stamp Jas Shoolbred) and 2 box drawers to each side. The right hand drawer fitted for stationery. The desk stands on its original, fine square tapering legs, ending with square box castors and brass rolling wheels.
