Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. There is some loss to the top at one side, and this has been basically (and badly) repaired at some point. There is some further more minor signs of repair in places. The fabric-lining is frayed and faded and has some marks and stains. There are some nails in the top shelf.
