Edwardian Mahogany Writing Table

An elegant Edwardian mahogany writing table of rectangular form with red leather top, standing on four finely turned legs terminating in original brass castors. The well-proportioned top above a pair of frieze drawers, each detailed with reeded moulding and fitted with decorative brass handles. It is of pleasing colour and patination, retaining a good surface throughout. Light and refined in appearance, typical of Edwardian furniture drawing on earlier Georgian influences. Ideal for use as a writing table, side table, or hall table.
