Description
This delightful Edwardian silver double stamp box has a lovely semi-circular form. It bears the marks of the prolific silversmiths Levi & Salaman. The glazed lid encasing two original stamps. The sprung hinged cover is lined internally with red leather. It is raised on four ball feet and has a gilt interior.
Hallmarks:
L&S for Levi & Salaman
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter (partially rubbed) but looks like a "Z" for 1900.
