Description
A fantastic quality item. An Edwardian silver topped, conical shaped, metal hunting / equestrian / explorers flask made for Harrods London Ltd by John Yates & Son (c.1905). The flask has a tight twist action hinged top in Sterling silver. It has its original leather case with straps. The flask fits very snugly into its case.

Flask measures 22cm in height, once in the case the overall height is 23cm.
declaration
Queens Antiques & Collectables has clarified that the Edwardian Silver Top Hunting Equestrian Flask with Original Leather Case - Harrods (LA547307) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1905
condition
Flask is in very good condition, the top screws tight, makers hallmark is rubbed but legible, showing some slight signs of wear commensurate of age and use. The flask fits very tightly into the case.
Leather case is good, it has a beautiful rich patina showing its character and history.
