Edwardian rosewood and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane with a red deer antler handle. The silver was assayed in Birmingham as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1910 and makers mark for Miller & Thompson. The silver collar is engraved with foliage and floral decoration. The handle is well shaped with a carved thumb support. The shaft is rosewood and as you can see in the pictures the colour contrast in the wood is very good. It also makes this a really strong cane with a good weight. The ferrule is original and made of brass. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
It measures 91.5 cm 36 1/8 inches in length, the handle is 11 cm 4 1/4 inches wide.
