Description

The lid of this early 20th Century Continental hinged lidded box carries an entwined floral motife, with a stylised pineapple at its midst. With the attention given to the detailed decoration and the planished bottom finish to the base, we have taken the step of furnishing the interior with velvet inserts to the inside of the lid and base, enabling a modern Romeo (or Juliet) to propose to their partner with an engagement ring carefully concealed in this lovely little box. Ahhh!
