Description
We have for sale an attractive early Victorian English provincial silver sugar sifter spoon by the Exeter silversmith William Pope.
The sifter spoon is in the fiddle pattern with a bowl decorated with a central pierced floral design with peripheral pierced leaves. The spoon carries full English provincial hallmarks for Exeter 1850, along with the makers marks for william Pope.
The sifter spoon is 6 inches (15cm) long, weighs 41.45g by our digital scales and, other than the light surface wear commensurate with its age, is in a very good condition with good clear hallmarks and makers marks.
