Description
Fabulous Edwardian brooch in hallmarked silver. This striking piece is formed in the style of a belt buckle, with a large elegant border. To the centre are exquisite mother of pearl panels, each shaped, engraved and delightfully coloured to form a Pansy flower. The purple hues running through the petals are gorgeous and compliment the gold colouring of the centre of the flower and the silver of the body. The brooch is secured with a strong hinged pin and C clasp to the reverse. A wonderful statement piece, being wearable and a great addition to any collection.
Hallmarks:- Clear and readable, softening to the date letter.
