This is a very fine 19th Century Anglo Indian antique brass jardiniere with chased decoration around the body in 5 scenes of Tiger attacking a man with knife and shield and finally eating him! The piece has a good patina, and has been left uncleaned just lightly waxed. Please see photographs.
