Mantiques Bazaar has clarified that the Fine Late George III Mahogany Miniature Chest of Drawers or Apprentice Piece (LA384244) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1810
condition
The piece has a lovely even colour and patination. Drawers run smoothly and all handles are original. The top has a number of ring marks and there is a small patch of replaced wood in the front right hand corner on the top. This is all evident in the photo of the top.
