First Period Worcester Porcelain Blind Earl Moulded Sweetmeat Dish c.1770
A very pretty Worcester porcelain sweetmeat dish in the so-called "Blind Earl" shape with rose leaf surface moulding and edged rim. Finished with an applied stem moulded handle branching into rose buds. Lovely bright enamels to the handle and buds, and various hand painted floral sprays and sprigs are scattered over the surface. c.1770.

In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration and very minor handling wear, just a small amount of rubbing to the enamel on the flower to the far right, the top of the lower rose bud and a glaze flake to the underside of the rim.
