Description
A rare Worcester porcelain tea canister of barrel form with canted shoulders and short, wide neck. Printed in the ever popular fisherman pattern, c.1775. Crescent mark to base.

The Fancy Fox has clarified that the First Period Worcester Porcelain Fisherman Tea Canister c.1775 (LA542927) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1775
condition
Condition is excellent with no damage, repair or restoration and minimal handling wear. There is a firing flaw at the rim: a small unglazed section just inside and over the rim and a short firing line. It is missing its original cover as is often the case.
