Description
A striking Flight, Barr & Barr period Worcester porcelain dessert plate with shaped gilt gadrooned rim. A bright apple green enamelled ground with shaped central reserve ornately framed with gilt scrolls and graduating dots. In the centre is a finely painted botanical specimen of a dodecatheon (or possibly an erythronium) in a bright pink with green and yellow and the detail picked out very delicately in black. Factory mark stamped to the reverse, c.1815-1819.

It measures 22.3cm (8 3/4") wide and 2.5cm (1") high.

The Fancy Fox has clarified that the Flight Barr & Barr Worcester Porcelain Botanical Dessert Plate Dodecatheon c.1815 (LA514059) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1815-1819
condition
In every good condition; there is a shallow chip to the tip of one of the gadroons. No other damage or repair and only minor handling wear.
