Description
A lovely Flight period Worcester spiral fluted tea bowl and saucer decorated in a monochrome green enamel over black outlines with gilt accents and gilded rim. Bold floral sprays run around the outside with an acorn in the centre of both pieces.
Unmarked, c.1790. Provenance: The Bayard Collection 2001.

The saucer measures 13.5cm (5 1/4") wide and 2.7cm (1 1/16") high and the tea bowl measures 8.5cm (3 5/16") wide and 5cm (1 15/16") high.

Condition is very good with no damage or repair. Light handling wear mainly to the gilt on the rims and the gilt leaves on the acorn in the saucer centre.
