Floor Standing Arts & Crafts Oak Book Trough c.1915

A particularly attractive English oak Arts & Crafts book trough surviving in good order and of sensible proportions. This floor standing version has some lovely decorative fretwork to the sides and sits on well shaped feet, all very nice. We have the odd age mark but nothing off putting and the piece is ready to place and load up with a novel or two. Billy Hunt has successfully focused on British furniture and lighting since 2012 and always has an interesting ever changing selection of carefully chosen pieces from the early 1800s to late 1970s. Our base is a large Victorian 2 storey red brick barn on a wonderful traditionally run country estate in Staffordshire. We are able to offer a first class upholstery service and also assistance in interior design if requested. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item.
