The eye is immediately drawn to the graciously scrolled forms that decorate the upper section of doors, below which are fielded panels. These doors open to reveal two inner shelves offering copious storage opportunities; the lower section showcases further storage and offers a single shelf. The sides also consist of fielded panels. There are occasional hints of the original paint in very small areas but it is offered in a stripped back to the raw oak state. The ensemble is raised on a shaped frieze with four short feet. There is copious storage room throughout this chic item with its wonderful hinges, pulls and escutcheons and there is also an original lock and working key; all of which tell of its quality.
