Description
French Arch Top Fire Back. Armour and Eagle
The fire back has a large crest or shield in the centre that is surrounded by leaves and flowers. Above the crest is a helmet from a suit of armour and an eagle or phoenix. The fire back has a shaped top and a raised border around the edges. The fire back is solid and heavy but is reclaimed and therefore has some slight signs of use and wear.
The Fire-back is in good condition for its age and there are no cracks breaks or chips.
It is 23” high, 29.5” wide and 1” thick
