French Brass Hall Lantern Ceiling Light Ribbed Glass Shade

Vintage French large gilt bronze hall lantern ceiling light. The four internal light fittings are surrounded by a single ribbed glass shade and held within a decorative scrolling framework with reeded banding, reeded side panels and open canopy, having the original chain and ceiling rose. A well crafted piece with a refined aesthetic that would suit both period properties and modern homes for character lighting. The vertical grooves soften and diffuse light commonly used in traditional lighting. In good working condition with a light patina (spotting) on the frame. The light has been earthed so ready to use.
