French Grape Hod or Grape Carrier 1880 untouch condition

A superb French Grape Hod or Grape carrier, in original un-touched condition with beautifully punched designs of rural farm and country life, with the original brackets to the back for threading through the leather straps for carrying, sadly missing. Lovely flared base making it very stable. Grape hod's come in many shape and sizes and made from many different material. The brass ones are always the most sought after with many used as stick and brolly stands in a hallway. This has been polished in the past but if desired could be polished to a gleaming gold colour, personally I prefer the unpolished look
